Voluntrek

Voluntrek

VolunTrek – Voluntrek develops volunteer management and preparation competences in educators, staff and representatives of organisations that host and send adult volunteers, in order to increase chances of providing a successful volunteer experience and preparing their volunteers in the best possible way.

A methodological framework will be designed, with guidelines and training activities, to provide educational and social organisations with a quality resource that will enable them to know:

  • How to generate volunteering opportunities for adults.
  • How to manage volunteering activities for adults.
  • How to prepare adults for volunteering experiences (offline and online)

This same methodological framework will have guidelines and training activities for adults to acquire:

  • Social competences to be able to express needs and relate to the people they will accompany during the volunteering.
  • Emotional competences to achieve stability and cope with the challenges of volunteering.
  • Intercultural competences to achieve a level of equality and horizontality with people from other contexts.
