The first newsletter of the unBLOCKed project is now available. It highlights the key moments from our first transnational meeting, held in Valladolid from January 13 to 16, 2026, bringing together partners from Spain, Turkey, Romania, and Slovenia.
In this edition, we explore how Virtual Reality is becoming a powerful tool to support students with moderate intellectual disabilities (MID), allowing them to practice real-life situations in a safe, controlled, and highly engaging environment. We also introduce the entire project consortium and their roles, with ASPAYM Castilla y León presented as the coordinating organization.
For 2026, our focus will be on designing the first virtual scenarios and organizing training workshops for teachers, with the aim of testing these materials in participating schools during 2027.
